How much will getting my braces off affect my playing?
I play bass clarinet and contrabass clarinet. I get my braces off tomorrow. Will this have an extreme affect on my playing?

It won't have an extreme effect. Well it could... For the first little while. You just have to get use to your braces and learn to adjust - if necessary.

When I got my braces, I had to go down about 1 reed size, but honestly it doesn't make much of a difference. Well, the first few days it might, but once your used to them, no problem :D

I had the same issue with the flute. It feels a bit funny at first, but it only takes a week or so to get used to the feeling. It certainly wont affect your abilities.
