An airplane travels 180 m/s as it makes a

horizontal circular turn which has a(n) 2.2 km

radius.

What is the magnitude of the resultant

force on the 100 kg pilot of this airplane?

Answer in units of kN.

I dont know where to start

Update:

oh I see and it did help. I also just found it in my book thanks!. how do I choose as the best answer?

    the force is calculated by:

    F = m * a

    for turning in a circle, the centripetal acceleration is:

    a = v^2/r

    F = 100 kg * (180 m/s) ^2 / 2200 m

    F = 1.472 kN
