In my personal opinion, it's better to learn a little bit about 'C' prior to learning Java Scripts... Though 'C' is a structured programming language and Java Script is an Object oriented language, still some of the syntax it borrows from 'C'... So it is very much advisable though not absolutely necessary!!!

No, it is not necessary, But if you know c programming then you can easily learn javascript flash. You can learn java script flash with knowledge of c also but you need very much practice to learn it.

Flash uses Actionscript. And I'm positive that C is a lot harder than Javascript and Actionscript. Even though I can't speak from experience

no, c is not required for javascript or flash, and most people would say that javascript and flash are much easier.
flash uses actionscript, which is pretty simple to learn.
