Memory card not getting detect in the mobile and says disk not formatted,format it now when connected to da pc?

wish I knew which format you system is. NTFS is a secure format that sometimes won't allow a 32bit format to work. It will offer to reformat. DO NOT FORMAT the card with the pc. IT may make your card non readable in the mobile. (Guessing the mobile, is a phone) Never format a card with computer that operates in a unit. Meaning format phone cards with the phone, and format camera cards with the camera. If you do, it may not work in the unit.

Now the problem may be that you have a corrupt file that has made the card unusable. If this is the case, you may not be able to get your files without a special program or taking it to a tech.

If the card works in the mobile, can you see files on it? If you can, use the mobile to email the files to your friend. then you can get the files back. Once you got the files, try to format the card IN THE MOBILE, If it formats, you can use it, but be cautious, it may be ready to die. You should try to purchase another card. I THINK THE FORMAT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR SYSTEM. like 32bit compared to NTFS.

Try scanning it with a anti-virus using a card reader.

If it helps then all right, if no then you will have to format it using ur PC and then reformat it using your phone so that all the default folders can be created.

There is no other way around. And do make backup files regularly so that you don't have to face this situation again.
