Is the Tea Party a valid movement or is it just a lot of hot air by Republicans to get votes?

It seems the Tea Party is based on a lot of anger and I get that but it seems it is misplaced and directed at the wrong people they what government back but the only blame Democrats for what is happening and giving the Republicans a pass when they are as much or more to blame than anyone so this will in the end be a failed movement that could have made things better

The Tea Party is a very valid movement. It is grass roots. There is no central office, no fund raising, no membership roll, no membership dues, no asking for donations. Expenses are paid by selling T-shirts, books, bumper stickers, etc. by volunteers.These are sensible people who see our freedom being taken away by Progressives in the present government. They are from every walk of life, every political affiliation, every race, every religion, every financial strata. They see this coming election as the last, best hope of saving this nation from socialism. After their rallies they leave the area cleaner than it was before they arrived. There are no arrests, no fights, no problems that require police intervention.They love this country, the freedom they have enjoyed all their lives, and they are trying to save the same for future generations. The Republican party has no interest in this movement, as tea partiers are fed up with "rino" rebublicans (Republicans In Name Only). Progressive are members of all political parties, and it is the Progressives that they are attempting to remove from our government, since it is they who are attempting to change our Republic into a Socialist government.

Right now the Tea Party is a joke. They are a platform for idiots like Palin, Beck,Angel and O'Donnell who do not represent what the Tea Party stood for to begin with
