Okay, a Halloween party is pretty Goth, in and of itself, the only difference is style. For a Gothic style, hang drapery, get some electric candles at the store, and put those around, keep the lights a little low, serve Absinthe or simply make the punch green, and maybe serve bloody marys or V8 or tomato juice. Put a few foam skulls around on the mantle, side/coffee tables, and maybe a raven and some branches. For the cloth you drape around, dark-red or black lace are your friends. You can also go with cloths that the same colors, but have textured patterns in ornate, floral patterns, like you might upholster with. Often you can get them in scraps or discount at fabric/craft stores.
So there are options. But remember, don't go over the top. Half the problem with store-bought Halloween costumes is they look cheesy, cartoonish, and over the top. So remember that it just has to be enough. Put the cloth up, and it will effect the room as much as paint or wallpaper.

I feel you'll take a "chew" out of a lot of these suggestions up to now. But something you will have to do is ship the invites out early so all people can get their costumes equipped. The Goodwill Stores have tons of affordable promenade clothes, tuxes, jewellery, even vintage dishes and different components that you'll use for this a laugh subject. Hang bats in visible and now not-so-visible areas. Try to discover the sparkle bulbs, however such a lot of all maintain the lighting dim lighting and use tons of spider webs. It shall be even creepier when you use a fog desktop. I could undoubtedly make the desk a core piece with platters, candelabras, goblets and the drink fountain that bearstirring acknowledged! You and your co-hosts might be seated on the desk like a dummy and "come to existence" as your visitors are escorted in! Serve up tons of quite a lot of "finger" meals. Some ideas: ft (scorching puppies baked in crescent rolls and reduce into chew-measurement portions), eyes (deviled eggs) and ears (dried apricots). Dessert can also be girl arms cookies (upload fingernails of sliced almonds to the cookies with frosting) and be certain to maintain a frozen hand within the punch bowl. Have a monstrously ghoul time!

i just answered another q and gave this answer - not sure if it's goth but i think its a pretty creepy idea.
-get an olden day photo of 2 or 3 people from flickr, print it and black out the eyes with a permanent marker and frame it - real stuff sends a shiver down your spine more than a fake ghost made from a sheet. maybe you could find a photo of actual people after they have passed on (like from the movie 'The Others' with nicole kidman) they're just creepy.
