Moral values VS Religious values?
In 3rd grade i had a subject called as 'moral subject'. My school used innovative methods to teach kids about moral values.
Question is why do we need religion? Only to make us better human beings, right? So, why study religion instead of moral values?
Learn moral values=>better human being=>get blessings from nature!
Anyway, the religious theories have corrupted hearts and minds of people.

That's a very good question for which I don't have a very good answer. I'll think about this. Perhaps the 2 are partners, albeit not partners that always work well together. Perhaps the difference between the 2 is one of degree, not kind.
The first 3 or 4 commandments deal with the relationship between God and man -- religion, the rest deal with the relationship between man and man -- morality.

Who's moral values would we then follow? Have any of mans governments ever brought peace and security to the whole earth? Have they provided even the basic in human needs for all people, food water and shelter? I put before you the last 6000 years as evidence. The only time everyone on earth had all those needs and more was when Adam and Eve where put into paradise and followed Jehovah's Direction, only when they decided for themselves what was right and wrong did they suffer. If everyone followed the words of the Bible, Love would reign. Are hope can't rest with the next President or King to bring us peace and that have always left us in want. God's Kingdom is now set up in Heaven and we are seeing its benefits right now by people who follow the Bible closely. The only True religion. Here are some benefits seen by following the Bibles morels.
True Religion . . .
PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display ‘love among themselves.’ (John 13:35; 17:16; Acts 10:34, 35) Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.—1Â John 3:16.
TRUSTS GOD’S WORD: Instead of teaching “tradition” and “commands of men as doctrines,” true religion bases its doctrine on God’s Word, the Bible. (Matthew 15:6-9) Why? Because “all Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight.”—2Â Timothy 3:16.
STRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to ‘love their wives as their own bodies,’ helps wives to develop ‘deep respect for their husbands,’ and teaches children to ‘be obedient to their parents.’ (Ephesians 5:28, 33; 6:1) In addition, those entrusted with positions of authority must have exemplary morals.—1Â Timothy 3:1-10.
Does any religion meet these standards? The book Holocaust Politics, published in 2001, says: “If more people practiced versions of what the Jehovah’s Witnesses preach and practice, the Holocaust could have been prevented and genocide would scourge the world no more.”
Indeed, in 235 lands, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not just preach the Bible’s moral standards—they live by them. I urge you to ask Jehovah’s Witnesses to help you learn what God requires of you so that you can worship him acceptably. Now is the time to act. Do not delay. The end of false religion is near!—Zephaniah 2:2, 3.

Religion is based on moral values. There is a confusion about religion,God,morality etc.The reason behind this is that our present day religious teachers are giving more stress on rituals &the contents of holy books rather than the substance to be followed. If people are taught the morality instead of rituals, that will be more beneficial to commons without hurting the sentiments of the religion.

Almost all schools run by religions have a subject called Moral Science.
Other schools rarely have it.
Its religion which teaches moral values at school.
If you could find some other substitutes to religion..... let us work together

There can be on serious problem with just teaching morality. The important thing to know is - why?
If you are not religious, why is it better to be honest with someone? I know that an adult can say that society functions better when there is some trust among the members, and honesty builds trust. But that is good for society, not for me in a particular situation. So I could say that yeah honesty is good for society but if it's better for me to cheat now, then I can do it.
There has to be an answer to why, or it is just more brainwashing for the good of the group not the individual.

It's a good idea teaching moral values in school. But religion should be a private matter - kept away from schools. Religion should be kept in your own church and private home.

Ah, another example of the state replacing God.
