Ramadan : How did our beloved Prophet(s.a.w) looked like?

Assalaamu alaykum :)

Abu Hurayra described the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with the words,

"He was of medium height, but nearer to being tall. He was very white with a black beard and good front teeth. He had long eye-lashes. He was very broad between the shoulders and had full cheeks. He walked on his entire foot, but they did not have a hollow. He turned completely towards people or turned his back completely. I have not seen anyone like him before or since.'"

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad Al-Bukhari, 1155

I wanna see him :(

Insha'Allah we meet him (s.a.w) on the day of judgement, and stand along side him, we are his ummah Alhamduillah :')

Update:

Waqas : HAHAHAHA !!

Sorry :P

    Aslaaam Alikum sis,

What an interesting post, really MashAllah.

InshAllah we meet him and all his companions, wives and all good-doers Ameeeeeeeen.

He was the best man ever lived. He was not sent to we muslims but to the whole world. I wish non-muslims could understand this.

SubhanaAllah, although he was the messenger of Allah, he chose to live the life of a pauper, he had a good sense of humor, his companions enjoyed his company and his sayings were the sweetest among all talk. May Allah grant all muslims dead and alive the highest rank in paradise:)

And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.(21:107).

Rabee'ah ibn Abi 'Abd al-Rahmaan said: "I heard Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) describing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He said: 'He was of average height, not too tall and not too short, with a pinkish colour, not very white and not dark, and his hair was neither very curly nor very straight. The Revelation came to him when he was forty years old, and he stayed in Makkah for ten years after the Revelation came, then in Madeenah for ten years. When he died, there were no more than twenty white hairs on his head and in his beard." (al-Bukhaari, 3283).

Al-Baraa' ibn 'Aazib said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was broad shouldered and had thick hair coming down to his shoulders and earlobes. He was wearing red garments. I have never seen anything more beautiful than him." (Reported by Muslim, Kitaab al-Fadaa'il, Baab Sifat Sha'r al-Nabi (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), no. 2338).

'Ali said: "He was neither tall nor short, and had large hands and feet. He had a large head and was big-boned, and the thin line of hair (starting from his chest and extending to the navel) was long. When he walked, he would lean forward, as if he was walking downhill. I have never seen anyone like him, before or since." (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 3570, who said this is a saheeh hasan hadeeth).

Jaabir ibn Samurah said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was dalee' al-fam, ashkal al-'ayn and manhoos al-'aqib." Shu'bah said: "I asked Maalik, 'What is dalee' al-fam?' He said: 'Wide-mouthed.' I asked, 'What is ashkal al-'ayn?' He said, 'Big-eyed.' I asked, 'What is manhoos al-'aqib?' He said, 'His heels were not fleshy.'" (Saheeh Muslim, Kitaab al-Fadaa'il, 2339).

One of Allah's beautiful creations... =]

We will quote below a number of ahaadeeth which describe the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). If what you in your dream is in accordance with this, then you did indeed see the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), because he said: "Whoever sees me in a dream has really seen me, because Shaytaan cannot appear in my image." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 5729).

As for the sin which you committed in the house of your brothers, repent to Allaah for this. If you took something that belongs to them, then give it back. And Allaah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

You wanna meet him? then do good deeds that God may place you in heaven.

    ------------------------- read this;

Companion of Prophet Musa (pbuh) in Paradise (Mother Story)

Mother's Prayer: Companion of Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) in Paradise (Mother Story)

Once, while conversing with Almighty Allah (SWT), Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) requested: "O' Lord! I desire to meet the person, who is to be my companion in Paradise."

Jibril (Gabriel) descended and informed Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) that his companion was to be a butcher who lived in a certain place. Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) set out in search of him and arrived at his shop, when he noticed a youth, resembling a night watchman, busy selling meat.

When night fell, the youth took some meat and proceeded towards his house. Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) followed him till they reached there. Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) approached the youth and said, "Would you not like to have a guest?" The youth willingly agreed and took Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) inside.

Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) watched the youth preparing some food. When he had finished, he brought down a large basket from the upper storey. Bringing out an old and wizened woman from inside it, he washed her and then proceeded to feed her with his own hands. When the youth was about to carry the basket back to its original place, Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) noticed the old woman's lips move as she mumbled something incomprehensible.

The youth then brought food for Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) and both of them ate their dinner. Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) inquired, "What is your relation with this old woman?"

The youth replied, "She is my mother and since my financial state does not allow me to purchase a slave-girl for her, I myself strive to serve and look after her."

Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) questioned further, "What did your mother mumble before you took her upstairs?"

The youth responded, "Whenever I wash her and feed her, my mother prays: May Allah (SWT) forgive you and place you in the company and in the rank of Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) in Paradise."

Hearing this, Prophet Musa / Moses (pbuh) said, "O' Youth! I give you glad tidings; Allah (SWT) has accepted your mother's prayers and Jibril (Gabriel) has informed me that you shall be my companion in Paradise!"
