Northern nevada coyote hunting?
I wanna go hunt some of those pestilent coyotes here in NV but i dont know if the rumors i have heard are true. i have been told here in nevada that we can not only hunt them with no license but we can also get cash for the pelts if turn into the fish and game office. my question is can we get money for the pelts and if so how much and where should i take them. also i have recently read that the price for turning in these pelts has just increased due to the growing problem of this coyote invasion!!!!! does anyone know whats the word on this??????

XCScout is correct on the state laws, but even if you can't hand in the furs to the fish and game office for a bounty, you could skin out the pelt and sell it to a local fur dealer, my suggestion if you are interested get a subscription to Fur Fish and Game, they advertise pelt prices for not just coyotes but all predators that you could hunt in NV, it would be a lot of fun to shoot the animals and make some money off of them at the same time.

It is legal to hunt coyotes without a hunting license in Nevada. They are considered an unprotected species. I read some comments on a hunting forum that indicates that there is a bounty on coyotes in your state, but I didn't see anything about how to collect it. It appears to be paid to farmers and ranchers only.
