Is the AMD Turion ll Processor as fast or faster than the Intel Pentium 3?

    Almost everything is faster then a Pentium III. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

    Extremely faster, the Pentium 3 in ancient. The Turion II is only a few years outdated.

    Tremendously faster. The Turion is a dual core mobile processor in the ~2 GHz range, the Pentium 3 is seriously out of date with a single core in the ~1 GHz range at best.
