I'm trying to remember the name of a certain children's television show from the 80's. Can you help?
The show used to play on PBS and was educational in nature. It included a grasshopper who wore really big glasses, carried a pencil, and taught about grammar and writing. Also, the grasshopper would usually say a really strange word in the show at some point. The word was something that sounded like "kalabrajot" or maybe "palabrajot"... something like that, anyway. Does anyone have any ideas? I have been trying to think of this forever and would be ever so grateful if you could help me out! Thank you!

"The Write Channel" is what you're talking about.
The grasshopper character was R.D. Bugg, whose motto was "palabra jot, palabra jot".
