Will I encounter the same problems with IE8 when I install Windows 7?
I'm looking to upgrade to IE9 due to so many problems I'm having with IE8

Hello Victoria Mcafee,
Both IE8 and IE9 beta should run well with Windows 7. In fact, IE8 comes built-in with Windows 7 so you will not even need to install it.
Since IE9 is still in beta, it is not without bugs, but I use it on my Windows 7 computer with no problem. IE9 beta also integrated well with Windows 7 -http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explor...
Hope this helps!

Switched altogether after 3 days of torture with IE9 Beta.
I now use Firefox, which runs like a dream, with no glitches at all - has some very handy and useful add-on's too
It seems as though IE8 or 9, just doesn't like my set up for some unknown reason.
I eventually gave up and surrendered.

No, you will find that after you get Windows 7 installed, IE 9 runs a whole lot smoother, faster, and it's also much easier.
