Why is Marijuana ILLEGAL while Datura is LEGAL?

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is far more dangerous than both of those combined. It is odorless, colorless and exceptionally common. It is responsible for massive numbers of death, injury and property damage all over the world. Shockingly, there isn't even a primary school that doesn't have DHMO in its very halls though how many of the students use it is hard to say.

It's a dangerous world out there. Yup.

My neighbors grow datura in their front yard and every time I see it I ask the same question! That stuff will *literally* kill you or give you brain damage. You don't ever, EVER want to even try datura!!

There's no way the government can justify classifying marijuana and HEROIN in the same schedule like they're equally harmful and equally addictive - they're NOT!

And there's no way they can justify allowing you to grow a "devil weed" like datura in your front yard while busting you for possessing a small amount of dried cannabis flowers! Write to you legislators and tell them!!

Because the plant is classed as a poison. Therefore it IS illegal to sell as a drug.

In fact it is MORE illegal, selling the substance as a drug could land you in jail for attempted murder and not the lesser crime of distribution.

FYI to others, the plant he's talking about is also called nightshade.

I can list thousands of legal things that can kill me if misused. That doesn't mean marijuana should be legalized if I'm dumb enough to drink Drano or bleach.
