I have issue with my DVD +RW?
It used to read any kind of CD. Now it wont read any music CDs or any CD Rom, or if you put in a blank CD it does not recognize nor does recognize any CD. It will read blank DVD or any movie DVD. My drive is a LITE-ON DVD+RW SOHW-822S. Is there any body out there that can help me with this issue. I would greatly appreciate it.

The laser in the drive is probably failing. When it reads CD it uses a different laser power settings than DVDs its probably this part that has failed. It is non repairable you will have to buy another DVD drive.
It appears to be a standard 3.5" drive so these are readily available and not expensive

The problem is with your Lite On cd/dvd sensor... You cant do anything to fix it alone.
You need to take it to the authorized liteon service centre. They will fix it for free if the writer is in warranty. Normally its 1 year for liteon.
P.S. Lite On suck with dvd writers, used it almost 3 years, and this is the common prob with most of their writers. Go for Sony OR LG.
