I'm 17 years old and I'm suffering from Alopecia :(. Please help.?
I've been suffering for over 15 years or so with this problem. It started happening when i was about 5 or 6 years old. My hair began to get thin and I've lost my hair from two spots on the right and left side of my head from the front. I've used Rogain for 2 years but the product failed to meet my expectations. I've gone to my dermatologist and he had some great news for me, told me i was going to be scheduled for a hair transplant around September and was going to call me around that month. It's been 2 months already :'( i hadn't received a call or anything. I tried contacting this doctor but every time i call the hospital asking for him they tell me he's never there. Please help me? What should i do? Do i find a clinic on my own? I'm desperate, sad, depressed. What must i do?

Find a new doctor. Obviously he is too busy, and might not even work there anymore.
I'm sorry this is happening to you at such a young age :(
I recommend getting scalp massages. It generates blood flow in the scalp and can
aid in hair generation. You can do this yourself while taking a bath. Put some conditioner
on your scalp and use slow movements all over your scalp for 20 minutes.
Also, take some vitamins. Folic Acid aids in cell generation
and has been proven to increase density and length. You should also be taking a
multivitamin (I suggest prenatal pills. It contains everything you need to be healthy,
and prenatals contain more of everything that is in the normal multivitamin). Don't forget
to also take biotin.

It was good that you went to a dermatologist, but who you really need to see is an internalist doctor. Often times alopecia is a symptom of other issues in the body. Go for a full check up and tell your doctor about your alopecia.
Sometimes a thyroid is malfunctioning or some other organ of the body. Once the source is found, it will get better.
Your case does not sound like it is bacterial, but it could be. Let your doctor give you a really good checkup with blood work to find out what is really going on.
Even if you do get a hair transplant, it may or may not work if there is another physical reason you are loosing the hair. What ever issue it is, it could kill the new transplanted hair too.
