I have a music track on my mobile phone. Can I set this as a ring tone and if so, how do I do it?
I haven't been able to get this as a ring-tone anywhere but it is on my music player and I'd love to set it as my ring-tone

Hey H.Potte,
As you asked you would like to set your music as your ringtone but you did not mention your mobile name or model. For us it will be very difficult to guide you because the process varies on different models available in the market as such. Though I have tried and did some research and I hope this help you in some extent.
1-Upload desired music to the cell phone. This can be done in a variety of ways. You could use ringtone creation software. You could send the music to your phone via USB, Bluetooth or email. You could download the music from a website or ringtone provider.
2-Locate the "Settings" menu on the phone.
3 -Browse the Settings menu to find out where ringtones can be changed.
4 -Edit the ringtones on the phone, and locate the music you uploaded to use as a replacement for the preloaded ringtones already available. Most ringtones last between 15 and 20 seconds, so having music files that are this long would be optimal. However, many phones are capable of playing segments from longer song clips, or even full songs. This will vary depending on the phone.
5 -Call the phone from another phone to see if the changes are in effect. Consult the owner's manual, or call customer service if you have further questions.
Good luck and Thanks!

Yes of course you can , go to the music then press options and if should say use as ring tone , but its difficult as i am not aware of what type of phone you have. If you are in UK you can phone 789 if on virgin network and the customer service helps you. or take it back to where you bought it i am sure they would help. Good Luck
