Can You Explain Gravity?

How does it work? Would gravity exist if the objects were static in space, and not rotating?

Although I can't explain how exactly gravity works other than everything that has mass has gravity, I can tell you that an object does not need to be rotating to create gravity. If you look at the experiment that determined what the universal gravitational constant is (The Cavendish experiment), those object were not rotating but still attracted one another.

Gravity is the strength that the Earth attracts something.
