computer hangs when a long continous beep sounds?

when i boot up my PC, everythings ok . then after a moment (no fixed time here). there will be a continous tone (beep) then my mouse wont move and the computer hangs. i am forced to switch the computer off by pressing the "on" button for 5 sec cuz it close normally.. helllpppp!!!

    Sounds like your processor is overheating. usually the loud continous beep is to warn of overheating so your system freezes, wanting you to shut down the system. Take off your side panel and blow out all dust using a can of compressed air. Pay close attention to the heatsink and fan over the processor chip. See if that helps.

    I would remove keyboard and mouse, as well as all other peripherals, and try booting it.

    If it does the same thing, its not your devices.

    Also, good your exact model of pc and continuous tone. That will indicate something.

    A long tone usually indicates an alarm state, such as over heat, POST failure, incomplete power from PSU, a conflicting device. etc.

    its your periphal device (mouse or keyboard) but since you mentioned your mouse try replacing it with a spare if the problem continues replace the keyboard.
