Are school days really the best days of our lives?

First few years of work are the best. Pockets full of cash and no worries once 5 O'clock rolls round.

Well I hate to tell you but in most cases the whole school days being the best day of our lives is more than true. See, when you are in school you have minimal worries in most cases, you don't have the every day stresses of paying bills, getting a job, taking care of a family etc. Most people hate their job at some degree or another, most people hate their spouse at some degree or another, and having kids is wonderful and not so wonderful. You have to pay taxes on everything, unless you are wealthy it seems as though you never have enough money to make ends meet. If you are a responsible adult you have can not be as free as you are now. You can't have, for a decent job anyway, tatoos all over, piercings and what not. Oh yea, and there is always that looming feeling of the economy crashing, not enough jobs, and voting. The canidits that are up for election these days for horrible and they can't fix anything. There are too many people in this world and every time you turn on the tv all you see is death and chaos or scandel.

The good news is that you can choose to have a great life. You can move to the hills, not do any of the above and be a free person. Otherwise big guy enjoy the next two years of your life, after that it blows.

When I went into high school, a lot of teachers and other people kept saying that high school would be the greatest time of our lives. They were wrong.

Don't get me wrong, it was okay. I had some fun.

But college is MUCH better. I loved living with friends, going to classes that were actually interesting, and all of the other fun things that college students do (most of which, you're technically not supposed to do...).

I am 35 and I am married and have a 4 year old girl and a 1 1/2 year old son. These are the best times of my life!

No, college and your first few years in the working world are the best years of your life. Drinking yourself stupid for four straight years then getting tons of disposable income while you are out on your own, now THOSE are the best days of your life. I hated high school, absolutely not at all the best days.

NOOO!!! Older people would always say that "i wish i could go back to school, those were the happiest days of my life" i left school a good while ago and when i think about school i still think GAWD!!! SCHOOL SUCKED!!! If anything they were the WORST days of my life. I did'nt get bullied or anything, but it was just sooo dull. No wonder me and the boys used to bunk off and go down Wester Hailes and get stoned and drunk.

It really depends on what you want to do after you're done with school. I'm at University right now, and to me it's the best time that I've ever had.

im 21 and from my experience, there are way more potential hook ups in high school. life is good without school, but u wanna be able to look back at as many hot girls u had sex with as u can.

For most of us, it's something to be endured until it's over and we can get started on our real lives.

Think about it - if you peak in high school, the rest of your life is going to suck.
