Question about what to do with ps3(YLOD)?

I have a 60 GB, backwards compatible ps3 that got the YLOD a few years back. I saw people selling the same item on ebay for $40, should i do this also??

    you could either trade it in for a new system or mall it to sony to be fixed. I wouldn't sell it on Ebay because they won't pay much for a broken system and if you lie you will have Ebay on your butt.
