Well, this is definitely not a surprise. First of all, successful and wealthy women are definitely a new thing. Up until a few decades ago, you didn’t have too many wealthy and successful women. Today, there are many of them.
About the women chasing men for the money, it’s really sad, but it’s nothing new. Most women are going through life wanting to find a man that will support them so they don’t have to work or get an education. That’s why rich men have women around them. In most cases, the women are not even attracted to the guy, and that’s the exact reason why they would use him without much guilt about it.
Now, women which are rich are kind of scary to men. Most men are insecure and they are seeking a woman which has less money, intelligence, and capability then themselves. Even today when male-female dynamics have gotten much more liberal, men still fear intelligent and powerful women. Actually, wealthy women have less men lined up for them than average women. Average women are seen as less threatening to their ego.

Psychology tells us that this is true, at least to some extent. Men chase beauty and other signs that symbolize a woman's fertility and ability to carry children. Women chase money, as a way to know that her offspring will be properly cared for. These types of actions are ingrained into our psyches from the time of cave men. Men would choose younger women with wider hips and better skin because they were healthier and more likely to carry the offspring to full term. Women would choose the better hunters, and those with larger muscles as a way to know that her offspring would be taken care of.

Its pretty much true and I pretty much agree with shreik
From a man's point of view,he wants his girl to be good looking,it doesnt matter to him how wealthy she is or how much of status she has in the society.
From a girls point of view, she is going to have a baby, so she needs security - emotional and physical, and money helps in giving both.So I cant really blame women if they think like that

Lol,I feel all these things are just stereotypes.
Like always associating Girls with Money,Make up,Fashion,Jealousy etc and Guys with Flirting,Physical Beauty of a girl etc. It's really not like that. These days,Guys go for intelligent and smart women while Girls go for sturdy and handsome guys.In both the cases education is the priority.

LOL...no :P
Idk about everyone in general....but I think the person means almost everything to me...then his family and then his financial stability, not that he has to be some millionaire but should have a proper stable income to sustain the family.
I do not think its true for guys as well....they do see the girl's nature first and her family. No idea though :P
Keep :-)
