Are wild hogs taking over the wilderness of the U.S ?

I've seen several documentaries on t.v about the over-population of wild hogs, and that they are multiplying at such a rapid rate that there is no way to regulate it and they are growing in size so much that some are humongous. Is it really that big of a problem like they are making it out to be?

Wouldn't doubt it a bit. They're smart, prolific and wildly omnivorous.

It is indeed. They are called "feral hogs"--------those who have escaped from farms.

Pigs are very smart, and hugely distructive to farm crops. You can get a hunting license any day you wish in the central valley of California.

Living in Ohio, I've never seen one, but I've heard they do cause a lot of trouble in other areas.
