CD/DVD Brands for Hi-Fi audio mp3 recording..?
Which CD/DVD brands would be the best for high quality,hi-fi sound of mp3 audio music recording and durability of data recorded/written on it? Maxell,Mitsubishi,SONY or others?

I don't think the brand matters, a cd is a cd, it's just empty bits waiting to be encoded.
However, I can tell you that DVD will allow for better audio quality than CD. It will allow for greater sampling rate and a bigger frequency range. See wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Audio
BUT if you're burning MP3's to it then that defeats the whole purpose, the audio quality will be as bad as an MP3 no matter what disc you put it on. The quality will only be good if you record to WAV format and then burn to dvd-audio format or audio-cd format.

Sony, HP, and similar ones are the best. Although since it is all digital, the quality of the sound would not be any better, just the quality of the product's durability.
