    'Sandstrom' is not a make.

It is merely a label slapped on to a range of electronics from a "no name" manufacturer, churned out cheaply by sweat-shops in the far east.

The build quality will be poor, the picture quality will be lousy and the reliability will be dodgy. If you are lucky...

This is a Dixon's group (Curry's, PC World etc) own label television brand like Tesco sell Technika and Aldi sell Tevion.

Presumably they chose the name to make it seem like Scandinavian quality technology like Bang & Olufsen or Finlux. It is probably made in some oriental or eastern European sweat shop that also produces the other cheap "brands". I would treat it like any other "supermarket own brand" and not touch it with a barge pole, let alone my cash.

The choice whether to buy or not is yours. But before you spend any money you should consider what will happen when it breaks soon after it's out of guarantee.

The make is the Curry's / PC World own brand. I would be wary about buying one. There are people that say they are as good as some of the mid-range known brand competitors but I would question their longevity. I would recommend Sony if you are thinking of a new TV.
