How many milliamps is this multimeter reading?

I set my multimeter to 10A using the 10A jack. Connecting the black lead to the negative battery post and red lead to the black battery cable produced a current reading. I'm testing for parasitic drain.

The reading was 0.70. What is this reading when on the 10A setting? ( How many milliamps is the multimeter trying to tell me? )

    .7A is 700 mA. 1000mA is 1 A.

    I think it is reading 0.7th of an amp, which is 70 milliamps.

    You can also use the V DC setting to check for a current draw...
