good books with high lexiles?
does anyone know of any good books with lexile ratings above 1050, i would really appreciate it, thanks :)

I had no idea what a lexile rating was. I had to research it.
Try their site, enter the rating, select the type of books you enjoy and so on. It will sort it all out and suggest some books for you.

If lexile 1050 is for high school and above, try Dangerous Days: The Autobiography of a Photojournalist, and its sequel, Blades: The Autobiography of a Rescue-Helicopter Pilot, both by J. William Turner. Realistic fiction about teens in several dramatic life and death situations set in Australia, Canada, England and California during the years 1981-1982 and 1995-2001. Each is written as a series of four related stories (about 100 pages per story) inside a single cover dealing with teenage, adult and social themes. More info in Google
