Yup, absolutely, the only other food substance we may not eat is alcohol, and you don't get that in crisps. if it is suitable for vegetarians it means there is no non-halal meat in there, so it's fine, it's just a flavour. Enjoy your crisps :)

As Salaam to you all,
Most of today's crisps are flavoured artificially and contain no meat products at all. This is why they are okay for vegetarians. However, the bacon flavoured crisps are also okay for vegetarians because it contains no meat products but not okay for Muslim's. Now some will say that if it contains no meat or pork products then why not for Muslim's? The answer is simply, the next move from eating something that tastes of bacon but contains no meat is to eat the real thing. It is like drinking non-alcoholic beer or wine, which incidentally does contain some residual alcohol but at too low a level for that classification. But if you like it you may be moved to buy the real thing and drink it.
Although certain foods are suitable for vegetarians, they are not okay for vegans, who do not agree with any animal products at all, even eggs. So where do you draw the line?
Do the best that you can to live your life within the limits of your knowledge and read the labels when you buy a product. Do remember that certain 'E' numbers are also from animal products and especially pigs.
Wa Salaam

LOL i think this too, specially on Walkers Crisps, i just look at the ingredients and if there's no animal fat or stuff like that in there, then i assume its fine
Because at the end of the day; its flavourings they put in, not the actual food.
Its still funny though when you find a halal packet of chicken flavoured crisps and some next person looks at you and goes :O they're haram ;L when clearly they are halal if they have only flavouring in it.
salam.

nicely i understand which you will order it on the information superhighway yet i'm uncertain in the event that they could deliver to eire. on the full Islam isn't there to make your existence confusing, if halal meat certainly isn't accessible then you definately can consume meat this is accessible, i could be tempted to declare consume organic and organic and unfastened variety because of the fact between the excuses we consume halal is to ascertain animals are dealt with nicely - i'm specific you will locate this on your village. in basic terms ascertain you assert Bismillah earlier eating. of course this does not mean you may consume beef! yet i'm specific you recognize that. This why you are going to might desire to stay faraway from the haribo and different beef gelatine crammed ingredients!
