What genre is the book Cell by Steven King?

So I have to read a science fiction book for one of my classes and I was wondering if Cell would be considered sci-fi. If not, please suggest some entertaining science fiction books!! Thanks a bunch. :)

"Cell" is more of a Suspense/Thriller book. "The Tommy Knockers" by Stephen King is in the Sci-fi genre. It's really good and interesting.

I would say yes but Wikipedia has it listed as horror.

The Hunger Games is listed as Sci-fi / young adult / adventure

Have Space Suite Will Travel by Robert Heinlein

You might like Anne McCaffrey's books

You may have to ask if it has to be sold as sci-fi or can it be sci-fi disguised as a thriller or other genre to be sold to the ignorant masses ;-)

You can get the StarShipSofa anthology free but I think you are looking for a novel
