Which flex-players to start for week 9?
I have two flex positions, and several players that I'd like to start. Here are ALL of my WR's and RB's (and their week 9 opponents):
RB's:
Adrian Peterson (ARI)
Darren McFadden (KC)
Peyton Hillis (NE)
Matt Forte (BUF)
Ryan Torain (bye)
Jahvid Best (NYJ)
WR's:
Calvin Johnson (NYJ)
Braylon Edwards (DET)
Steve Johnson (CHI)
Wes Welker (CLE)
Santonio Holmes (DET)
My league starts 2 RB's and 3WR's, and like I said, has two flex spots. So out of all of those RB's and WR's, which 7 would you start? (Peterson and McFadden are no-brainers, along with Calvin Johnson, but I feel like they could ALL have big games based on their match-ups.)
Please provide detailed reasoning as to why you would start whomever you suggest. A simple list of 7 names will not earn you the best answer.
Thanks in advance!

Start - 1. Peterson 2. McFadden 3. Johnson (like you said because they are amazing and will get you a lot of points).
Now as far as the other four go. Don't start Best because the Jets defense is top of the line. Don't start Torain because they are on a bye week. So that eliminates two of the players.
So we are looking at Edwards, Johnson, Welker, Holmes, Forte, Hillis,
I think Steve Johnson is a good start for one of the other positions. This guy is having a good year and is one of Ryan Fitzpatricks favorite targets. All he seems to do is catch touchdowns. Over the last three weeks he had 9, 21 and 16 fantasy points. The bears are struggling.
Hillis should start as well because he is almost half of the Browns offense. Over the last three weeks he has had (13, 9, and 11) and only once has he not had a double digit fantasy day. The patriots are good but there defense is struggling and I expect the Browns to give Hillis the ball.
I have Edwards on my team as well and last week he only had one catch for 32 yards. I expect his performance to go way up this week against the Lions. He is one of the big targets and was solid in weeks 2, 3, and 4.
Forte is the last one I would start. He's worth the risk because although the Bears are not very good the Bills are worse than the Bears. I think Forte will have a good game by catching the ball out of the backfield, and running it straight up the field. I expect the Bears to bounce back and come off their bye week with a strong performance.
Start? 1. Peterson 2. McFadden 3. Calvin Johnson 4. Steve Johnson 5. Payton H. 6. Braylon E. 7. Matt F.

Go with Peterson, Mcfadden, and Forte and start Calvin and Holmes. Trade a RB for a WR. I think Welker will produce less without a legitimate deep threat and Johnson and Edwards are unreliable. Mcfadden is a player that you just should not bench when healthy the way he has been playing and Peterson is a must start every week, especially against a bad team like the Cards. Forte is also another player you need to start most weeks because he is an RB in a Martz system which means he will be thrown to quite a bit and also get his carries. The Bears are also playing a terrible defense against the Run.

RB 1: peterson - best rb in hte league against a bad team
RB 2: mcfadden - playing great lately and should be a good game
WR 1: calvin - one of the best in the game
WR 2: welker - clevland has no secondary
WR 3: steve johnson - hot qb throwing to him against a poor secondary
Flex 1: forte - terrbile defense and good catching out of the backfield
Flex 2: hillis - the entire browns offfense

i could pass with Jacobs too, Bradshaw is out and so is Nicks. Jacobs is going to get so a lot greater touches this week vs a undesirable New England protection. Decker's numbers have been down because Tebow grew to alter into beginning QB, Denver doesnt bypass as a lot and Tebow isn't a sturdy passer. Nelson is a sturdy WR, yet Rodgers has maximum of human beings to throw to that he might desire to no longer see the ball a lot. i could pass #a million Jacobs #2 Nelson #3 Decker. Rb's are often a secure guess, till they play for Washington.
