I learned Visual Basic, now what?

I read "sams teachyourself visual basic 2005 express. Can I get a job with that limited knowledge, or do I just have a hobbie?

    Programming language is a world that you can never find the end of it. So that means nobody can say that "i know everything about programming". so go ahead where you can. dont stay on .NET platform, see the others languages like java etc.

    If that is the only computer related training/education you have, then it's going to be very hard for you to get a job especially in the current economy.

    visual basic 2010 is out, your programming syntax is now out of date.

    enjoy your hobby.
