Do people realize that 90% of the answers to their questions are on the internet already?
Some of the questions asked are ridiculously easy to answer with just a simple search. Are people that lazy that they do not even want to search the internet anymore? What is going on with society.

It is not about being lazy, rather, people are not as educated as they should be in searching...

I would dispute the 90% figure, probably closer to 65%
Googling.^
Many people are dumbfounded when they use search engines to find sometimes millions of sites to choose from, and often a whiz kid will have a site for them in an answer whilst they are still deciding which link to open.
Others want that personal touch.
It’s an easy 2 points for those who can provide the link, and it only costs the user 2 points to ask the question.
You will get 3 points back when it is resolved.

It saves them time searching and Yahoo Answers is fun sometimes its good to hear other peoples opinions which may not be on the internet.

No not really I'd say about 30%, I'll agree most of the questions are the same but when you get to the additional details the content of what has been asked is completely different to the previous ones asked.
