I'm thinking of going on the Implant?

Does anyone have any advice? I've tried the combined pill and the mini-pill and neither worked for me. They made me very uncomfortable, moody, etc. Would the implant be a good idea for me? Neither me or my boyfriend have any STIs or anything and we wouldn't use just the implant.

    Hey

I had implanon in for about 10 months and it was great at the beginning. i didnt get my period at all for the first 4 months or so and so i loved it. But then things changed and my period would come and it was really irregular and then it got to the point where i would have my period every other week which was awful. I found all of this really hard to manage and so i had it taken out.

Some women experience no adverse side effects and while i had it for the first few months i thought it was great. I have heard other stories about women having extreme mood swings with it

You can always talk to your doctor about it and give it a try because it is fairly easy and painless to remove and insert and it means you dont have to worry about taking a pill everyday.
