What does a person mean when he says: It's on now?

It's like an expression or saying when a person is really PO'ed or angry..I saw this written on a piece of cardboard in a warehouse with a funny drawing..but i was just wondering what that really meant.

It usually means that the person who is pissed off plans to do something about it, most likely in the form of physical retaliation (the best kind :D).

Something like... You messed with someone and they say "It's on now."

Meaning that they are "serious" but usually there no better then before. Like serious as in angry angry. o.o
