Which wedges should i get?

I'm investing in new wedges. My old wedges are worn and i want new ones before the new groove rules are put into place. I need a 56* and a 60* I was looking at the Adams Tom Watson wedges. I'm not sure how good these are. I've heard good and bad, mostly bad. I was just looking at the price (3 for $100). Also, I was looking at the new Taylor-made xft wedges, with the replaceable face. D i c ks has a deal going where if u buy one of these wedges, you get a free replacement face free, and shipping is also free. So i would get 2 of these wedges, with 2 replacement face(usually $40 each) to my house for $180. Has anybody used these clubs? What do you think?

I wouldn't get the Adams Tom Watson wedges, you were right when you have heard the mostly bad review. Adams is a great brand but if your looking for a great new wedge I would not go with the Tom Watson wedge. A great wedge is something that you can always fall back on. The Taylor-made xft is a great investment, they give great backspin and were on Golf Digest's hot list.

Do not skimp when it comes to wedges. They called "scoring clubs" for a reason. I prefer Titleist Vokey or Cleveland CG15 for my wedges. Both come in different finishes such as black nickel or chrome. Be sure to by them by the end of the year so you can be sure to have the older grooves which impart more spin on the ball.

By the way i saw the Taylormade XFT wedges on sale for $85 at greatgolfdeals.com

Well, you should've gotten new wedges last year because the new rule went into effect this year. However, it really doesn't affect recreational golfers. I suggest the CG15 from Cleveland because it was rated the best on the market and they will not be available after this year. I don't know much about the TaylorMade XFT wedges, but TaylorMade products are high quality.

You can grow use to any wedges. The best are cleveland and titleist in my opinion, though. Look at your old wedges. Did you hit them well? If so, find new wedges that are similar. If not, at least you have an idea what to stay away from.

Check out Titleist's Vokey wedges. They're not crazy expensive (Around $75-$100 each) and are GREAT! I use them and love them. Great spin. Tons of choices of bounce. Overall, awesome wedges.

Cleveland wedges are the best ones out there I have the CG10's, they are older models but in my opinion any of the CG series wedges have the best feel of any brand....They have the best track record, more pros have won with Cleveland wedges than any other wedge. Can't argue with the pros
