Can someone help me with with DVD players?
I have recorded movies on to dvd discs with my computer and my inkjet printer has the capability to print labels I create right on to printable discs, but in at least 2 dvd players I have problems getting them to play right. The picture look all choppy and digital like a Satellite picture looks when raining. It even freezes at times. Am I using the wrong kind of discs? Wrong kind of dvd player? I thought maybe...only certain kind of dvd players would play these kinds of discs, but I just don't know. Can any of you smart electronic gurus out there help me. Please! Thanks in advance!

The type of disc you are burning to should be either DVD-R or DVD-RW for best results.
As for the player, you will need a DVD player capable of playing back the type of DVD you burned the movie to. Check the manufacturers website to find that information if you do not currently know what the player supports. Most modern DVD players will support all burnable DVD's.
Another possible explanation is that you are attempting to burn copyrighted movies, if this is the case, the movie may have DRM encryption, and you will be unable to burn that DVD due to copyright and anti-piracy laws.
