Nintendo DS or DSI for Christmas?
My grandkids each asked for a DSI for Christmas. Haven't a clue which to buy. Can anyone please explain the differences between the two and offer advice? Thank you!

I would have too say get the DSi cause I personally own one for myself. And there are many difference's here are some. 1. DSi has a camera, and you can edit the pictures you take. Ds doesn't. 2. DSi has a channel thing just like the Wii shop channel. Where two free channels' in there which are Internet Browser, and also Flipnote Studios which are free but too get them they must have wi-fi. 3. DS has smaller screen than DSi.

basically the biggest difference for me is the GBA Slot.. for example: if you play a game like pokemon and you have a ds version, you cant transfer Pokemon from the gba version to the ds version which really stinks in my opinion

If your grandchildren can wait, the 3DS comes out in March (ish). Its more expensive, but it will be better (and it plays DS games as well)
