Do you have problems understanding questions on YA!?

I am finding it hard at timed to understand some questions on YA!, because of bad spelling, lack of punctuation or just random talking. I am not trying to blame anyone but what happens in education/schools these days? Surely communication should be one of the priorities to make people able to deal with situations in their life? Is this totally forgotten in preparation to the real world?

Sometimes yes. It is usually the lack of punctuation, meaning that you have to read a question once, and think " what the hell? " Twice to get a basic gist of it, and thrice to actually figure out what it means. This kind of thing is one of my pet peeves. I don't think it is necessarily schools who are to blame, it is more the pop-culture media. We live in an age of email, texting, chat rooms and message boards, all with their own quicker and abbreviated forms of a language; and though this may be convenient because there are character limits, it can affect the proper use of a language. People who use this often, find that their spelling and grammar suffer as a result.
