All letters go by airmail. It's usually 3 to 7 days. Sometimes a little more. Cost is 98 cents an ounce.

It usually takes 5 business days for letters to get from my town in Arizona to my penfriends in Japan. The longest it ever took for one to arrive was 7 days.

If you mail it on a business day in the U.S. right at 7 days, then intervening weekend counting toward that total. If you mail it on a Saturday the clock might not start until Monday.
