What does a crown look like on a tooth?
I need to get a root canal on one of my frontish teeth. will the crown be silver and all ugly and stuff? is there any way around that?

You can get them in a variety of different colours. The clinic I work at gets the crowns to match the patient's teeth, so when you look in their mouth it looks the same as their other teeth. Gold crowns are stronger. But if it's a tooth towards the front, the crown will be tooth coloured, not gold or silver!

They will give you a tooth colored crown, not silver or gold.
