Supraventricular Tachycardia--how do you treat it?

If you have it, what are you doing to treat it? I can't use blood pressure medication, since my normal blood pressure is 89/64. I want to know what others are using.

Great answers. "See a doc" : you already did. "Adenosine" : not used by patients.

IF it's severe enough, an "ablation" may be needed. An electrophysiologist (specialized cardiologist) uses a catheter to "break" the short circuit that may be causing the problem.

MOST of the time, it's an annoying problem for a healthy patient. Also, a cardiologist may try a specialized antiarrhythimc drug that doesn't change your BP.

    Good luck.
