Well I'm a huge horse lover but alas, I have none of my own! But what I think makes some awesome names are song titles. I like metal. One of my favorite songs is In My Darkest Hour. Now I don't know if this is against any kind of copyright laws (I doubt it) but I think you should go nuts and find all kinds of awesome names just from song titles. I know that's what I'd probably do!
