Why is it that the most "racial tension" occurs among Whites & Blacks? Out of all the groups, it seems to me?

It is because of the history each has had with each other. Some Blacks hold resentment towards White over slavery, Jim Crowe era, etc and some Whites still feel that Blacks are still inferior.

I think it's a history thing. White people treated black people in the worst way. If I was black back then, and even though I'm white now, I can see why they would still have a lot of hatred just for that reason. No. I didn't do it. I have problems with my own race because of what my ancestors did. It will only get better when those who realize this can stop dwelling on it and see equality as a fact and not a past disturbance.

I think it all started with the slave trade. Neitheraces ever got over it. Blacks because their people were treated as slaves to the White man and Whites because they think Black people should move on and forget about the past, or they still hold some racism. I definitly believe there are bigots and racists on both sides, in fact most of them answer questions on here.

Agree. White and Black is the major conflict. It's a crapload of things. I could write a book. Basically it's the far left saying black people are completely innocent of all wrongdoing and the far right saying whites are completly innocent of all wrong doing.

This is only in America though. If you went to the balkans, the major conflict would be completely different or if you want to Africa the conflict is between different ethnicities. If you went to the middle east the conflict is religous or west vs east.

I agree completely. Maybe the slavery thing.....?

I've heard Asians and little population of non white Latinos who were living in the United States during segregation were not segregated but only blacks were.

There are way too many issues that have not been resolved and have instead been sweeped under the rug due to political correctness and denial.

Until the majority of us have the courage to face the real issues, tensions will continue.

It really depends where you live. For example I live in England not to far from one of the most diverse areas in England and there has been riots between Pakistani and black people. More recently large scale fights between Indian and Pakistani people.

History, and age-old ways of thinking.

Two simple things that have kept two races of people from moving on for hundreds of years

Palestinians and Israelis...have more of a problem with one another then what blacks and whites have with one another....we do not constantly kill one another like the Palestinians and Israels

We are both ignorant! Truthfully trolls motivate people to start racial tension and flaming, Its sad i know, but the world will always be ignorant and so blind.
