what pentatonic scale is the blues?

I want to play blues slow hand or soloing, should I be looking at a particular scale. I'm thinking the Em pent, but not sure.

    The blues scale isnt a pentatonic scale its called the minor blues or major blues. the blues scale just has a little more notes the minor and major pentatonic.

    Usually I use the pentatonic major or the blues scale and honestly the key doesnt really matter but I think G, A and C are easiest and sound best for soloing throughout the guitar neck.

    You can use the mahor or minor pentatonic scale as well as the BLUES scale. That is a good scale to use in combination with the pentatonic scale.
