How long is the commitment in the military if they train you to be a helicopter pilot?

    Depends on the military branch and if you are an Officer or a Warrant Officer.

    You must give the military 8 years in total.

    8-10 years total depending on Branch and whether you are a Warrant officer or a Commissioned Officer.

    Army is 6 years AFTER you finish flight school. That took me 2 years.
