What medical condition could this be that I have?
Three years ago I had a surgery called a TVT done. It was to tie up my bladder and to help with urinary incontinence. Since the surgery I still have an urge to go all the time, I wake up to go in the middle of the night and still have some leaking. i went to a specialist about it and they said that the mesh they put in me is still intact. So why do I still have problems? So recently, along with this pain, now my conditions are worse; My bladder is not fully emptying, and along with that I have such bad pains on the right side of my hip towards my back.My doctor wants me to go back in for surgery for the TVT again, but the pull it up a different way. But I don't think that's the problem. What else could this be instead of just the urinary incontinence? Please help me. I don't know what else to do and the doctor is pushing for this surgery but I know deep down it wont help. thank you

Could it just be an overactive bladder? Maybe you could try some medication for the overactive bladder before you go down the path of surgery again. Have you looked into seeing a physiotherapist that specialises in bladder incontinence? Perhaps those options may be worth looking at before you have an operation. I guess they have checked your kidney function?

I just went to the urologist for bladder leakage and since it's not stress related (like when you cough or sneeze) then he said it was my bladder having spasms. I also have Multiple Sclerosis so lots of my muscles have spasms. He put me on Vesicare and that seems to be working wonders.
Ask about bladder spasms.
Good luck to you.
