problem with Bank over charges?
Being on a Pension and eighty six yrs old... the Pension Service puts my Pension into my Bank. Every three months Bank puts charges on as I have to pay my Electric, Gas etc through the Bank. So every three months the Bank charges me anything up to £110 for having to do this. Is this right because last month it left me with £4.53 to buy my food for a month until my next Pension went in. I have just been to see them and did not get any joy from them. It is bad enough trying to live at all without doing this to you. They started this charging about two years ago and I have trying to fight them ever since. Are there any Banks out there which I could change to for a better deal...

Collect you paperwork (Bank Statements) and make an appointment to see some-one at your local 'Citizens Advise Bureau (CAB)' or 'Help the Aged' .. they will have some-one who can investigate and help you claim other benefits to which it sounds you may be entitled to.
Remember - you paid your Tax and NI for DECADES whilst you worked ..now's the time to GET BACK some of that money (why should it all go to those who have never worked a day in their life or never paid a penny in Tax ???)

What do you mean the bank charges you up to £110 to pay your bills?
Withdrawals or transfers out of personal bank accounts are free, so there should be no charge for doing this.
If you are going overdrawn they might be adding penalty charges.
Otherwise, if you are paying be direct debit (straight out of the account) are you sure this isn't just the money you owe for the bills. In which case its nothing to do with the bank.
