My best friend and I got into a huge argument. What do I do?
My best friend and I got into a huge argument also involving another friend. She was drunk and started insulting me for no reason and then another friend tried to calm her down and left a mark on her arm cause he grabbed her hard. I was obviously mad telling her to slow down and she was drunk driving like a crazy woman and all she could do was to tell me to shut up and insult me (and I repeat i Dindt do anything) When the whole mark on her arm happen i took the wheel and then she was crying yelling and i was like shut up calm down lets just get home safely. She kept insulting me and yelling at me then i Proceed to laugh and make fun of her cause she was making a scene. She then started saying i was making fun of her because our friend left the mark and I kept laughing and said wow your nut... she proceeded to hitting me in the arm numerous times leaving marks. The when she was gonna hit me again i snapped and only hit her once in the face leaving her a mark (bad choice).. Its been 2 weeks and we havent spoken. What do i do?

1 - Never again get into the car with a drunk driver
2 - If you find yourself in the situation where you driver is drunk, do not physically assault them while they are trying to drive
3 - Two weeks seems like enough time to wait before making a move. It you really value the friendship, I would suggest calling her and planning a time to talk about it face to face. You had both been drinking and, when that happens, tempers flare and problems are exaggerated, etc. Since you were the one who assaulted her, she may be expecting you to call and apologize before she contacts you. You hit her, and that was wrong, but you realize this. Maybe she'll forgive you. If not, it's probably time to move on.

She needs to apologizes to you. When she does you need to say sorry for hitting her back and that the whole situation got out of hand. The longer you let it go without talking it over with her the worse its gonna get. So call/text her to have her meet up with you and hopefully she realizes she was wrong if not then the friendship probably won't work out.

Go say you feel bad about the situation, say you're sorry and would like to put it behind you and hope for the best. If she doesn't accept it, it's probably for the better that you two have fallen out, but chances are she will and everything will be fine :)
Good luck!
