how do u get the rear drum off a 2000 elantra?
i need to know how you get the rear brake drum off a 2000 elantra. do i need a puller to get the hub nut off? please explain how i get it off.

After removal of the rear wheel bearing nut the hub can be eased out by prying!

If there are any retainer screws holding the drum to the hub you must remove them first. Next bang in between the studs with a 5 lb. hammer until the drum pops free. You may have to back off the brake shoes if the old drum has a lip of rust built up that catches on the brake shoes. I don't believe you need to mess with the hub nut.
