You wanna go were everybody no's your name?

The Alley and an Open Barstool

The moist stampering of the rats

feet muffled the sound of excessive

merriment. The brick walls loosing

their mortar like falling off drunken

flies. The tobacco smoke

of guilt and the greasy smell of envy.

The happy sound of a puddle

being squashed by a tire,

and the crows on the wires.

The sirens of stupidity yell . . .

a warmer place around

the corner with beer.

    Okay.

I could see the moist on such a floor

but it is also sticky and thick with dirt

especially along the lines, the edges

    where such creatures tread

and I think rats have nails/claws...

    yes?

so would it not be more like a moist pattering

like the lighter, more filmy sound of a muffled drizzle?

I mean the combination of the elements involved

when combined... very much like a funkaye, gentle rain

so light it is ethereal. Yet I can hear it through your words.

Um I hope you don't mind my saying, my speculating

the differences owt loud between pattering and stampering

(the latter of which you have me looking up just to see if

it's a real word though I could hear that too but that would

be more then like a louder, more ferocious stampede of

scampering arrat tatooey so to speak. haha I dunno.

So much other stuff I liked that made me smile and laugh

just thinking about, though at first I found it depressing

    until I looked again.

If there are rats, I'm going to be on a table top not a barstool.

"The happy sound of a puddle"...sweet.x.
