Ramadan ~ knowledgeable muslims: what is a 'zar'?

I read it's some kind of spirit or something....I've never heard of it til today and I'm curious to know more...

    you may be swimming in deep water...be careful...

    Build our Iman..and focus on ibadah...no point meddling where our understanding is weak....
